What to Expect

When arriving at Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County, our staff will take you through an individual orientation of the agency and its programs. They will also discuss the necessary forms, policies, procedures, and financial responsibilities. You will then complete an assessment with a counselor. You and your counselor will then decide your individualized plan of care to meet your needs.

Additionally, for adolescents, the parent/legal guardian and the child will receive general information about the adolescent services division and will be presented the basic paperwork needed to begin the assessment process.

Programs and Services

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Develop healthy life skills through an effective intensive outpatient treatment program with a group of your peers for three hours per day, three days per week. Here you will learn to lean on each other while practicing strategies that will help you on your journey to healing.

Child & Adolescent Counseling

Substance Use Disorder and behavioral challenges can strike at any age. Our team of experienced and dedicated adolescent support specialists brings together education and support as they help your adolescent start their journey to a happier and healthier future.

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Safely manage withdrawal symptoms while minimizing cravings through medication assisted treatment. You will be guided every step along your journey to safely fight Substance Use Disorder in a compassionate, caring environment.

Family Counseling

Start healing from the pains caused by family strife with a team of compassionate, experienced, and dedicated therapists who will help you start down the road to building a happier, healthier future for you and your family.
