Vacancies

Qualified candidates should have experience with medical billing and coding, including Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, and patient-responsibility accounts. Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, electronic claims, payment posting, denial management, and electronic health record systems is strongly preferred.  Experience billing for outpatient mental health, substance use disorder treatment, MAT, and laboratory services is highly desirable. Knowledge of South Carolina Medicaid and experience working within South Carolina’s 301 behavioral health system or a county alcohol and drug abuse authority are preferred.  Medical billing or coding certification, such as CPC, CCS, or CBCS, is preferred but may not be required depending on experience.  Working up to 25 hours a week.  Pay range will be $22.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on relevant billing experience, certification, and familiarity with South Carolina’s behavioral health and 301 system.
