Full-time Clinical Counselor for Child and Adolescent Services:  Clinical Counselor needed to work in the Outpatient Services Department, with primarily children and adolescent populations in the school setting as well as in the office.  The salary will be based on qualifications and experience, starting at $50K.  This position will require a master's degree in counseling or related area and experience in the substance use field; S.C. State licensure to provide counseling services preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  If not already certified, applicants must be eligible to be certified as an Addictions Counselor in South Carolina.  BHSPC provides assistance in obtaining certification as well as on-site licensure supervision for LPC and Social Workers.  BHSPC is an approved site for NHSC for student loan forgiveness.

The individual in this position is primarily responsible for testing specimens ordered by the provider or by established standing orders or protocols and providing administrative support for the MAT department.  The qualification requirements of the position are  Associates degree in a medical related field and two (2) years of experience in medical services, experience in Medical Laboratory or MAT medical services and certifications regarding testing laboratories and/or phlebotomy preferred; graduation from high school and four (4) years of experience in general testing laboratory or medical field, including or supplemented by courses in testing laboratory, medical terminology, human anatomy, human physiology, human pathology, diagnosis, clinical procedures, billing and administration of medication; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Part-time Clinical Counselor for Outpatient Services:  Clinical Counselor needed to work in the Community-Based Treatment Services Department to provide biopsychosocial assessments to varied populations in the office.  This position may include the provision of additional clinical services such as individual or group counseling to a primarily adult population and the potential for evening hours.  The hourly rate will be determined by qualifications and experience. This position requires a master's degree in counseling or related area; experience in the substance use field preferred; Certification and S.C. State licensure to provide counseling services preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Full-time position to be the primary collector of observed urine drug test samples for male and female patients.  The proposed work hours would be 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.  Experience providing patient services in a health care or medical setting, EHR and laboratory specimen processing procedures preferred.        

The position requires an associate degree in health care or related medical field, and one (1) year of experience in a health care or medical setting; graduation from high school and four (4) years of experience in related health care or medical work, including or supplemented by courses or experience in a medical laboratory or an environment providing patient care; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
